Each tip has a difficulty level, that indicates how hard it may be to accomplish. Below is an explanation, of each level.
Easy: indicates the tip should be easy to accomplish, and only requires basic knowledge, skill or tools.
Medium: indicates the tip may be harder to accomplish, and requires more knowledge, skill or tools.
Hard: indicates the tip may be difficult for some, and requires advanced knowledge, skill or tools.

Summer is here and you know what that means, weeds. Well, how would you like to know how to make your own weed killer? It only takes three ingredients, is environmentally safe and you can make it for a fraction of what it cost to buy it from a hardware store.
What You Need
1 gallon - White Vinegar
1 cup - Salt
2 table spoons - Blue Dawn dish soap (you must use the blue colored, original Dawn)
How to Do it
For easier mixing, combine the ingredients together, in the order they are listed.
1. Pour 1 gallon of white vinegar into a sprayer or container a little larger than a gallon to make it easier to mix. You can use the gallon container the vinegar came in but it is harder to mix.
2. Add 1 cup of salt to the container, close the lid and shake well to mix all the salt. Note; that you may have to shake the container several times, to dissolve all of the salt, letting it relax a few seconds between each shaking.
3. Add 2 tbsp. of blue Dawn then, close the lid and shake the container. This time a simple shake will do because you don't want to make too much foam.
And there you have it, your own home made weed killer and it cost you next to nothing. Make sure to label the container accordingly and be careful where you spray it because it will kill just about anything, even poison ivy.
How would you like to make fresh, oven-roast peanuts at home? It is fast, easy to do and they really taste great. All you need are peanuts, an oven and a shallow baking pan.
Let's Get Started
Be sure to use, unshelled peanuts with clean, unbroken shells. Also make sure the peanuts don't rattle, when shaken.
1. First start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Then spread a single layer of the raw peanuts in a shallow baking pan.
3. Place pan in preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes for unshelled peanuts (peanuts still inside their shells) or 15 to 20 minutes for shelled peanuts (peanuts with the shell removed).
4. Stir once or twice during the cooking time and only cook the peanuts until they are slightly underdone because they will continue to cook for a while, after they have been removed from the oven.
Make sure that you wait for the peanuts to cool before eating, then enjoy. You can store unshelled roasted peanuts, in an airtight container, for up to one month on the shelf, up to 6 months in the refrigerator or up to 12 months in the freezer.
